Igor Semshov believes that Moscow's Lokomotiv will not be able to compete for the gold medals in the current football season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the "Loko" team will not fight for the gold because the points lost in matches against Rostov and Samara clearly show this. The team lacks the necessary resources and psychology to turn such games into victories, says Semshov.
Lokomotiv is one of three teams in the current Russian championship season that has not yet suffered a defeat in the seven rounds played. The other two teams are Moscow's CSKA and Kaliningrad's Baltika.
The "Railwaymen" have currently accumulated 15 points. This result demonstrates the team's strong performance, but much work still needs to be done in the fight for the gold medals.
The team must strive to improve its capabilities.
