Scaloni considered the match against Spain difficult before 2026

In March, the national teams of Argentina and Spain will play against each other. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This match will be between Argentina, the winner of the 2022 World Cup, and Spain, the champion of the 2024 European Championship. This meeting is organized as a contest between the winners of the main tournaments.

At the same time, Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni expressed dissatisfaction with this game. He believes it would be better for his team not to play such a match before the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the summer.

According to Scaloni, scheduling the game close to the World Cup was unnecessary. He does not support this decision due to the risk of injury.

It is worth recalling that the Argentina national team has won the World Cup three times. This team holds an important place in football history and is known for its strong results.
