Former England national team and Real Madrid player Michael Owen commented on Alexander Isak's transfer from Newcastle to Liverpool. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his statement on social media, he emphasized that if a player wants to secure a transfer, sometimes they have to make the wrong move. According to Owen, it is not always possible to seize opportunities by being only right and fair.
He also noted that there is no benefit in predicting players' future behavior. Additionally, Liverpool paid 145 million euros for the 25-year-old Swedish striker Alexander Isak.
Isak signed a six-year contract with the club. In the 2024/2025 season, he scored 23 goals in 34 matches in the English Premier League.
This result demonstrates his high-level performance and is considered an important addition to the club.
