Spain's "Mallorca" club has removed the captain's armband from their player Daniel Rodrigues and suspended him from training sessions and matches for 10 days. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was reported by the AS online publication. The punishment against Rodrigues was due to posts he shared on social media after the match against Madrid's "Real" club.
In the posts, he expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of respect at work and wrote that he was saddened that his children did not see their father on the field. Shortly after, Rodrigues posted another message sharing his opinions about the team's head coach and one of the new players.
As a result, the Mallorca sports director defended the coach. Within these two days, disciplinary action was taken against the player who has been with the team since 2019.
This incident is regarded as a strict measure aimed at maintaining discipline and order within the club. The club's management is paying serious attention to the behavior of their players and demands that they adhere to the team's rules.
