The representative of Stanislav Cherchesov, head coach of the Ahmat team, Alan Aguzarov, recalled the events that took place last month. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, when the Russian coach returned to the Grozny club, there were contacts with various RPL clubs. Among them were also Moscow teams.
However, these contacts were mostly at the level of phone conversations and meetings, and a clear and definite offer came only from Ahmat. According to Aguzarov, Cherchesov missed the RPL and Russian football very much while working in Kazakhstan.
Under Cherchesov's leadership, Ahmat remained unbeaten in four rounds and collected eight points during this period. This result brought the team to the middle of the Premier League table.
The victories were achieved in matches against Zenit and Krylya Sovetov. Thus, the Ahmat team under Cherchesov's leadership is showing that it has put its game on the right track.
