Pogrebnyak called Zenit the main favorite of the RPL

Former Russia national team striker Pavel Pogrebnyak named Saint Petersburg's Zenit as one of the main favorites for the Russian Premier League season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his opinion, although Zenit showed rather uncertain performance at the start of the season, they are considered the main contender for the championship. Additionally, Krasnodar and CSKA teams are also competing for the top positions.

Perhaps Spartak could also be included in this list, Pogrebnyak said in an interview with Championat. Currently, after the 7th round of the Russian Premier League, Zenit is in fifth place with 12 points.
