Former high-ranking manager of Moscow “Spartak” Aleksandr Shikunov shared his thoughts on the reasons for the unsuccessful start of the “Rostov” team’s season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, removing the central zone composed of experienced players who play for the national team from the club is a big problem for the team. Shikunov emphasized that even for strong teams, losing three key players causes difficulties.
After seven rounds of the Premier League, the “Rostov” team is only in the playoff zone. The Don team is in 14th place with only five points, including just one victory.
This victory was achieved in the match against “Pari NN” with a score of 1:0. Additionally, Shikunov also shared his opinions about the club’s head coach Jonathan Albe.
Overall, according to him, the current state and results of the team are related to the absence of key players and management problems.
