Naumov: Mourinho will strengthen Spartak, increase the league's prestige

Sports00:19, 04-09-2025

Football expert Nikolay Naumov expressed his opinion about the possible involvement of Portuguese coach José Mourinho in the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the information, the expert may be appointed as the head coach of Moscow's Spartak team. Naumov emphasized that the prestige of the Russian Premier League will increase because coaches of such a level are rare.

However, the main question is how much Mourinho will be able to achieve the results set by the team management. Recently, Mourinho was dismissed from Turkey's Fenerbahçe club because the team failed to advance past the Champions League qualifying stage.

Additionally, the coach recently spoke about the conditions under which he would agree to manage Spartak. This event is important news for Russian football, and the coach's future and impact on the team are generating great interest.
