Vyeshtitsa supported the Serbia and Russia game

Former footballer and defender of Saint Petersburg's "Zenit" team, Milan Vyeshtitsa, expressed his opinion about the possibility of another friendly match between the Serbia and Russia national teams. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He recalled that in March 2024, the Russian national team defeated the Serbian team 4:0. The opponent team had a player sent off in the 21st minute, which influenced the outcome of the match.

According to Vyeshtitsa, the idea of holding a return match between Russia and Serbia is good, but it is difficult to realize this year; it will be clearer to discuss next year. He emphasized that many spectators would attend the match.

Additionally, the Russian Football Union recently stated that precise information about organizing a new friendly match with Serbia could be announced within the next three months. Upcoming matches between these two teams are expected to be interesting for football fans.
