Russian coach Aleksandr Grigoryan evaluated the career of former Spartak defender Alexis Duarte. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He recently transferred to the Brazilian club Santos. According to Grigoryan, Duarte's game was sometimes contradictory.
At times, his level of play seemed low, and sometimes he found himself in comical situations. The expert spoke about this on the Match TV channel.
Nevertheless, Grigoryan emphasized that recently Duarte has been playing as the main central defender in Dejan Stankovic's team. Alexis Duarte joined Spartak in 2023.
During two and a half years in Russia, he played a total of 67 matches and provided one assist. His joining the team and playing experience were important in strengthening the team's defense.
Currently, the defender playing for Santos is expected to further develop his game.
