Chelsea's midfielder Andrey Santos has received a serious offer from Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 21-year-old player's transfer attracted interest from the Al-Qadisiyah club. The Brazilian player was offered an annual salary of 8 million euros, which is about five times his current income.
However, the midfielder rejected this offer, according to UOL. Chelsea could have earned 60 million pounds sterling, nearly 70 million euros, by selling the promising player.
In the summer, Andrey Santos played on loan at Strasbourg before returning to Chelsea. The Transfermarkt portal valued him at 35 million euros.
His current contract with the major London club runs until 2030. Santos's return to the team and his future development are important factors for Chelsea.
