Litvinov: matches against lower-ranked teams are difficult

Ruslan Litvinov, defender of the Spartak team, shared his thoughts on how difficult it is to play against lower-ranked opponents. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, such teams mainly focus on defense and rely on quick counterattacks. Therefore, matches against Spartak are very important and principled for them.

According to Litvinov, sometimes in such games, the team does not fully execute the plan due to insufficient preparation. In the seventh round of the Russian championship, Spartak secured a hard-fought victory against Sochi.

The match ended with a score of 2:1, with the win ensured after a penalty awarded in the 90+7th minute. Currently, the "red-whites" team is in sixth place in the tournament table with 11 points.

This result reflects how the team's performances have been this season and emphasizes the need for the same discipline and focus in upcoming matches.
