Igor Osinkin, previously the coach of the Samara city team "Krylya Sovetov," has now been appointed as the head coach of the "Sochi" football club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The official Telegram channel of the southern club provided this information. The employment contract between the parties is scheduled until the end of the current season.
The staff under Osinkin's leadership includes senior coach Sergey Kornilenko as well as coaches Arsen Papikyan and Mikhail Semernya. At the end of the last season, "Sochi" returned to the Russian Premier League, but their performances at the start of the season were unsuccessful.
Due to the poor start, the club management decided to relieve head coach Robert Moreno of his duties. The team earned only one point in seven rounds and currently occupies the last place in the Premier League standings.
This situation is unsatisfactory for the club, and the new coach is expected to improve the team and raise the results.
