Lokomotiv decided to keep Saltykov in the team

Moscow "Lokomotiv" team's winger Nikita Saltykov is likely to stay at the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier, it was reported that Igor Osinkin, the new head coach of the "Sochi" team, had offered Saltykov to strengthen the squad. According to a source from Sport24, representatives of "Sochi" negotiated with "Lokomotiv" to loan the 21-year-old player, but the railwaymen were not willing to release the Russian footballer.

This season, Saltykov has appeared in five matches across all competitions but has not recorded any effective actions. His current contract with "Lokomotiv" is valid until June 2028.

Thus, the player is highly likely to remain with his current team. The club plans to keep him in their squad in the future as well.
