Former Zenit striker Pavel Pogrebnyak shared his thoughts on the possible departure of Brazilian midfielder Jerson Santos from the Saint Petersburg club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Zenit manages its transfer policy skillfully: buying players at one price and then selling them at a different price, creating a profitable business process. Pogrebnyak does not consider Jerson's departure a serious loss, as the player has only played a few matches so far and has not made a strong impression.
He said: “Losing Jerson is not a big deal. He played two or three games.
So far, we have not remembered him clearly. Zenit will find a player to replace him”.
It is worth noting that Jerson joined Zenit last summer. So far, he has played six matches in the Russian Premier League but has not stood out with goals or assists.
