The Transfermarkt portal has announced the annual salaries of the players of London’s Arsenal football club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The top spot in the ranking is held by the injured Kai Havertz. His contract is valid until 2028, and his annual income amounts to 16.9 million euros.
In second place is another injured forward, Gabriel Jesus, whose annual salary is 16 million euros. Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice occupy the third and fourth places, each earning 14.5 million euros per year.
The top five is completed by Victor Djokeresh with 12 million euros. In 19th place in the ranking is the summer’s new player and midfielder Martin Subimendi, whose annual income is only 4.5 million euros.
The 20th place is held by the new goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, whose salary is also 4.5 million euros. It was also announced that Gabriel Jesus has not been included in Arsenal’s Champions League squad.
This means he will not participate in the important competition for the team. Overall, the ranking shows that the club’s highest-earning players are mainly key squad members, but injuries are affecting their performance on the field.
