Russia national team forward Andrey Mostovoy shared his thoughts on the scoreless game between Russia and Jordan on the BetBoom platform. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the score reflects the game as the team did not play well in the first half. They were unable to get on the field effectively during the first 15-20 minutes.
In the second half, they took the initiative. Towards the end of the game, luck and skill were lacking, but nevertheless, they fought for the victory and kept trying until the very end, the player said in an interview with the MatcH TV channel.
Mostovoy also emphasized that the upcoming match against Qatar on September 7 will be even more challenging. Valery Karpin’s squad failed to score against an opponent for the first time in almost two years.
The last time the Russia national team played was in November 2023, when they drew goallessly with Uzbekistan. The team is currently striving to improve their performance and aims to achieve success in upcoming matches.
