Gakpo extended the contract with Liverpool
The Netherlands national team and England's Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo commented on signing a new contract with the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The new agreement is valid until 2030. Although Gakpo has not considered leaving the team, Bayern showed interest in his services during the summer.
In an interview with ESPN, he said, "As far as I know, they showed interest in me, but in the end, they bought Luis Diaz." The player emphasized his satisfaction with signing the new contract.
He also mentioned that the transfer window can be stressful for players and those around them, but now this issue no longer bothers him. Gakpo has played 132 matches for his current club, scoring 42 goals and providing 19 assists.
