Winger Estevao Vilyan from Chelsea scored his first goal for the Brazil national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The young footballer helped the national team by opening the scoring in the 38th minute during the 2026 World Cup qualifying match at home against Chile. The match ended with a 3-0 score.
Estevao remained on the field until the 66th minute, after which he was substituted. This was Estevao's first goal wearing the national team jersey.
Since making his debut for the national team in September 2024, he has played six matches. It is worth noting that last summer Estevao left his hometown club Palmeiras and transferred to London’s Chelsea.
So far, he has appeared in three matches for Chelsea but has not scored yet. Despite his youth, Estevao is attracting attention with his skill and is expected to hold a significant place in world football in the future.
His career is of great importance for Brazilian football and contributes to the team's successful participation.
