Moscow's Spartak team will spend a total of two million euros to purchase two new central defenders from European clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Earlier, it was reported that the club was negotiating with Christopher Wo from France's Rennes and Alexandru Cicâldău from Turkey's Fenerbahçe. As a result, the "red-whites" will pay two million euros for Cicâldău and offer him a "2+1" contract.
Wo will join Spartak on a free transfer, according to internal source Ivan Karpov. Cicâldău is 31 years old and has played 33 matches for the Ghana national team, including participation in the 2022 World Cup.
23-year-old Wo represents the Cameroon national team. His distinctive feature is his height of 193 centimeters.
At Spartak, only Srđan Babić (194 cm) is taller than him. These transfers are aimed at strengthening the team's defensive line.
