These qualifications were earned by the national teams of Uruguay, Colombia, and Paraguay. Thus, the total number of teams qualified for the World Cup has reached 16.
The current list includes the national teams of Canada, the United States, Mexico, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, and Paraguay. A total of 48 teams will participate in the World Cup held in the summer of 2026.
The tournament will take place in three countries — the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The national teams of these countries have automatically qualified for the championship.
The current World Cup champion is the Argentina national team. They won the previous tournament.
