Moscow club Torpedo's forward Aleksandr Chupayov shared his thoughts about the team's position in the tournament standings. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that it is an unpleasant situation for the team to currently be at the bottom of the table, but emphasized that this is football and various situations occur. According to Chupayov, only eight rounds have been played so far, so there is still an opportunity to improve the situation.
He added that after all the matches are completed, it is necessary to look at the overall standings. Last season, Torpedo finished second in the Parimatch League competition, but due to a scandal related to match-fixing, they were unable to secure a spot in the RPL.
The team was fined and remained in the competition. Currently, after eight games, Torpedo is in sixteenth place with 5 points.
The team is striving to improve their performance and aims to achieve better results by the end of the season.
