Football agent Vladimir Kuzmichyov, who represents defender Georgiy Djikiya, responded to recent remarks made by Russia national team head coach Valeriy Karpin. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Karpin stated that Djikiya could return to the national team if he performs well. According to Kuzmichyov, Djikiya's current goal is to regain his previous level and prove his necessity for the national team.

It is pleasant to hear these thoughts from Valeriy Georgievich. Djikiya has not been called up to the national team since 2023.

He has 44 appearances and 2 goals for the Russia national team. This season, the 31-year-old footballer transferred as a free agent to Turkey's Antalyaspor club.

The team currently stands in seventh place. Djikiya has played in 4 matches and received 1 caution.

His main task is to contribute to his team's success.
