US national team head coach Mauricio Pochettino revealed the reasons why he cannot become the coach of the Barcelona club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Although he said he could manage Barcelona with his coaching style, he emphasized that he would never do so. Pochettino stated that he is loyal to the Espanyol club and that this club is more independent in Catalonia.

Mauricio Pochettino managed the Espanyol team from 2009 to 2012. Currently, he is 53 years old and has been serving as the head coach of the US national team since September 2022.

It was also reported that the Barcelona club is currently managed by Hans-Dieter Flick. Under his leadership, the team won three major trophies last season.
