Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, who became a free agent after not renewing his contract with London’s Arsenal club, is considering opportunities to continue his career in Spain. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was reported by the Mundo Deportivo publication. According to the source, the 28-year-old player is attracting interest from the clubs Real Oviedo and Real Sociedad.

Both teams highly value Tomiyasu’s versatile playing style; he can play not only as a central defender but also in other positions. Last season, the player appeared in only one match due to a knee injury.

Currently, his market value is estimated at 15 million euros. Tomiyasu is expected to be ready to return to the field at the beginning of October.

This information indicates that his career may enter a new phase.
