Lukaku will return to the field only in December

Sports23:45, 07-09-2025

It has been announced that Napoli forward Romelu Lukaku can only fully recover after December following a calf injury. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was reported by the Football Italia publication. Initially, the Belgian player was expected to return to the field in November.

Lukaku opted out of surgery and chose conservative treatment to shorten the rehabilitation period. However, after the next medical examination, he was told that a full return to the field would only be possible during the winter months.

Experts emphasized that this timeframe aligns with the post-injury recovery plan and is not considered a complication. The player's current contract with Napoli is valid until 2027, and his transfer value is estimated at 22 million euros.
