According to UEFA regulations, a team must play all home matches in the group stage of the Champions League at the same stadium. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Since the "Camp Nou" stadium has not yet reopened after renovations, Barcelona was at risk of playing four home matches at the Olympic Stadium where they played last season. However, according to RAC1, UEFA has granted Barcelona special permission to change stadiums during the group stage.
UEFA considers this situation an exceptional case for the Catalan club. Barcelona will play their first home match of the Champions League against PSG on October 1.
It is still uncertain whether Camp Nou will be reopened by that date. Therefore, the team may temporarily use other options to resolve the stadium issue.
