The Kazakhstan national team and Grozny city's "Akhmat" football club forward Maksim Samorodov commented on "Kairat" team's success in the Champions League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He spoke about the team reaching the main stage and also defeating Scotland's "Celtic" club in a penalty shootout. Samorodov emphasized that he congratulated his teammates with whom he played in the national team.

He expressed great happiness that they are representing Kazakhstan honorably on the international stage. He also noted that the "Kairat" team faced strong opponents.

The upcoming matches of the Kazakhstan club have been determined. They will play against "Sporting" on September 18, "Real" on the 30th, "Pafos" on October 21, "Inter" on November 5, "Copenhagen" on the 26th, "Olympiacos" on December 9, "Brugge" on January 20, and "Arsenal" on the 28th.
