Galatasaray bought the Turkish national team goalkeeper

The «Galatasaray» team officially announced the purchase of a new goalkeeper. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This goalkeeper is Ugurcan Cakir, a member of the Turkish national team. Relevant information was posted on the team's official website.

Cakir was bought from the «Trabzonspor» club for 33 million euros. Additionally, a bonus of 3 million euros is planned.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper signed a five-year contract with «Galatasaray». Last season, Ugurcan Cakir played 43 matches for «Trabzonspor» and conceded 42 goals.

He also kept a clean sheet in 18 matches. Currently, «Galatasaray» holds first place in the Turkish championship standings with 12 points after four rounds.

The team aims to achieve even more successful results in the future with their new goalkeeper.
