Ivory Coast national team midfielder Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro has signed a contract with the "Verona" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The team's official website reports this. The 32-year-old player is currently a free agent after his contract with "Lazio" ended.
He previously played for the teams "Toulouse," "Salernitana," "Empoli," and "Montsu." Last season, he appeared in 14 matches for "Montsu," but did not stand out with goals or assists.
These statistics might have been better, but Akpa-Akpro was sidelined for a month due to injury. The player, who was part of the Ivory Coast national team at the 2014 World Cup, is valued at around 500 thousand euros according to Transfermarkt.
Akpa-Akpro aims to prove himself at his new team.
