Xavi rejected Bayer's offer, a new coach is being sought

Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez, an experienced specialist who worked at Catalonia's "Barcelona" club, was considered by the management of Germany's Leverkusen "Bayer" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Marca newspaper, the club known as the "pharmacists" held negotiations with the 45-year-old coach, but Xavi declined the offer. The proposal from the German club did not interest him.

On Monday, September 1, Dutch specialist Erik ten Hag was released from the position of head coach of "Bayer". Under his leadership, the Leverkusen team had only collected one point from two matches in the German championship.
