Cole: Foden is the best player in his best form

In recent years, the well-known English footballer Joe Cole shared his thoughts about Manchester City's attacking midfielder Phil Foden. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, last season was difficult for Foden. However, confidence should not be lost in players of such caliber.

When Foden is in his best form, for example, as he was two seasons ago, he becomes one of the best players in the country, Cole said in an interview with TNT Sports. Last season, the 25-year-old forward appeared in a total of 49 matches for the "Citizens" across all competitions.

He scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists in these games. According to Transfermarkt data, Foden's market value is 100 million euros.

His current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027. Thus, the club shows great confidence in the player and considers his future bright.
