Serbian midfielder Jan-Carlo Simic may return to Italy from the Belgian club Anderlecht. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He was bought by Milan in the summer of 2023 for three million euros and played a little under Stefano Pioli's leadership. However, he later dropped out of the main squad, was benched, and was loaned to the Belgian club.
Currently, according to Calciomercato.it, Rome's Lazio club has shown interest in Simic. He may join the Lazio team during the winter transfer window.
At Anderlecht, Simic played as a key player in 53 matches, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Currently, Lazio is in seventh place in the Serie A standings.
Simic's return is expected to further strengthen the club's squad.
