David Gantsko, the central defender of Madrid's Atlético team, could have played in Saudi Arabia. Euro-football.ru reported this.
Last summer, the "mattress makers" bought the Slovak footballer from the Dutch club Feyenoord. The major Spanish team outbid Saudi Arabia's Al-Nasr club for the 27-year-old player, even though Al-Nasr offered much better terms.
Recalling Al-Nasr's offer, David Gantsko said that such earnings can only be made in twenty years by working at Atlético. He considers his decision correct and emphasized that the deal was completed in just one and a half days.
The Madrid club spent 26 million euros on this transfer. The defender's contract is planned until 2030.
This transfer became an important addition to the team, and Gantsko is expected to take one of the main positions in the team's defensive line.
