Gleison Bremer, the central defender of Juventus, shared his thoughts about his new teammate Luuk Openda. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Belgian forward was loaned from RB Leipzig before the summer transfer window closed and later joined the Bianconeri with an option to buy. Last year, Bremer collided with Openda during a UEFA Champions League match against RB Leipzig and suffered a serious injury.
According to Bremer, after that match, Openda wrote to him, saying he did not intend to cause injury and apologized. He emphasized that it was just an unfortunate accident.
Currently, Bremer is eagerly looking forward to playing alongside his new teammate and mentioned that Openda might apologize again. The Brazilian footballer was unable to play from October to August due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his knee.
