Domenico Tedesco has been appointed as the head coach of Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" football club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Former Russian defender Andrey Eshchenko explained the reasons behind the coach's arrival at this major Turkish club's management. In an interview with the "Match TV" channel, Eshchenko said: "Tedesco has worked with many teams after Spartak.
His results speak for themselves, which is why good teams invite him." It should be noted that recently the "Fenerbahce" team parted ways with head coach Jose Mourinho. The Istanbul club had been finishing second in the Turkish championship for the last four seasons.
Tedesco's last job was with the Belgium national team, with whom he experienced failure at the Euro 2024 tournament. Football commentator Mostovoy emphasized Tedesco's stability as a coach, calling him "unbreakable" and said, "He gets fired, but he appears again at another team."
