Thomas Kroth, Manuel Neuer's agent, confirmed that the Bayern goalkeeper may return to the German national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

During the summer months, amid issues related to Marc-André ter Stegen, talks emerged about bringing the experienced player back to the national team. According to speculation, Neuer may return to the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

In an interview with Wetterauer Zeitung, Thomas Kroth said: "Manuel is in excellent shape and doing his job well. If Julian Nagelsmann feels there are problems in the goalkeeper position in the national team, Manuel will certainly not refuse the offer, provided he is healthy." Manuel Neuer will be 40 years old at the time of the World Cup.

His experience and skill are important for the national team. The goalkeeper's return will help strengthen the team's defensive line.

Additionally, he serves as a good example for young goalkeepers. National team leaders and fans are receiving this news positively.
