Uli Hyoness said that journalists misinterpreted his words. In his opinion, he was not against Jackson, but rather indicated that it might be difficult for the player to fulfill the contractual obligations.
Hyoness stressed that Jackson might not be able to accumulate the required number of games for the purchase because the German Cup matches are not counted, and there is a high probability that the player will be called up to the Senegal national team in January. He said: “In January, he will participate in the Africa Cup, so he cannot play 40 matches.
