Denmark national team player Christian Eriksen has decided to test his strength in Germany's Bundesliga and signed a contract with the Wolfsburg club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was reported by the Tipsbladet publication. The 33-year-old player agreed to this move thanks to the efforts of executive director Peter Kristiansen.
Eriksen initially left Manchester United and was acting as a free agent. He is currently flying to Germany, undergoing a medical examination, and completing the contract formalities.
Earlier, the media reported that Eriksen might join the Bayer Leverkusen club, which is managed by Danish specialist Kasper Yulmann.
Recently, Eriksen has been training with Sweden's Malmö team to maintain his physical fitness. Last season, he played 35 matches at the club level, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.
