However, he and his colleague Gary Neville did not include the player in their symbolic team, which sparked debates on social media. According to the expert, he still does not understand what sets Sancho apart from others.
He does not consider Sancho a bad player, but he cannot identify his distinctive qualities. At the same time, Carragher noted that despite criticism, Marcus Rashford has strengths in speed, accurate shooting, and executing set pieces.
It is worth noting that last summer Sancho moved on loan from Manchester United to Aston Villa. He had been playing for the Manchester club since 2021.
