Bruno Fernandes chose Ronaldo for the final penalty

Manchester United and Portugal national team midfielder Bruno Fernandes responded when asked who he would assign the decisive penalty in the Champions League final. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the most suitable person to take on this task is Cristiano Ronaldo. Fernandes said that most football fans around the world would also choose Ronaldo.

Because he knows well how to act under pressure and has been playing at a high level for twenty years, consistently delivering excellent results. Everyone knows that he gives his all during moments of pressure.

The Manchester Evening News publication quoted Fernandes' words, citing BBC Sport as the source. Also, in September, the Portugal national team defeated Armenia 5-0 and Hungary 3-2 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

These victories demonstrate the team's strength and readiness.
