Tchuameni matched Zidane's record in the French national team

Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni received a direct red card in the match against Iceland. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Opta data, Tchouaméni became the first player in the France national team to receive two red cards, a record that has been observed since Zinedine Zidane's era. Aurélien Tchouaméni's previous sending off was in last year's match against Belgium.

Zidane received red cards in 1998 and 2006. Currently, the Real Madrid midfielder has three goals and three assists in 43 appearances for the France national team.
