Al-Ittiho bought the Serbian defender

Central defender Jan-Karlo Shimich has become a player of the "Al-Ittiho" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The transfer of the Serbian footballer was announced on the official website of the Saudi Arabian team. Shimich was bought from the Belgian club "Anderlecht".

Earlier, well-known football insider Fabrizio Romano reported that the deal amount reached 21 million euros including bonuses. The defender signed a four-year contract with "Al-Ittiho".

Last season, Jan-Karlo Shimich played 49 matches for "Anderlecht", scoring four goals and providing two assists. Currently, "Al-Ittiho" is in second place in the Saudi Arabian championship with three points.

The team is striving to achieve good results in the upcoming matches as well. Shimich's arrival will help strengthen the club's defense further.
