This stadium is the home ground of the "Atletico" team. The Champions League final was also held relatively recently at the "Atletico" stadium, in 2019.

That final was between English teams, with Liverpool defeating Tottenham 2-0. Additionally, the upcoming Champions League final will take place on May 30, 2026, in the city of Budapest.

In this match, teams will compete for the "big-eared trophy." These decisions have been officially approved by UEFA and are generating great interest among football fans.
