Nainggolan refused to compare with Maktominey

Famous Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan admitted that he does not approve of comparing himself to Scott McTominay. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He also considers such a comparison to be incorrect. Scott McTominay had an excellent debut season at the Italian club Napoli and was recognized as the best player in Serie A.

However, according to Nainggolan, McTominay has not played much in the main lineup of Manchester United and is not technically strong. He has not become a key player because he cannot pass well.

At the same time, McTominay fits well into Antonio Conte's system, which was also characteristic for Emanuele Giaccherini at one time. Radja Nainggolan played in Italy for the clubs Cagliari, Roma, and Inter, and is currently active in his homeland Belgium with the club Lokeren.

In his opinion, during his prime he played at a completely different level, and comparing him with McTominay is incorrect.
