Manchester City's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is preparing to make his debut for his new team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 26-year-old Italian footballer was purchased from France's PSG club at the beginning of September. Usually, it is said that Donnarumma's footwork is not at a very high level, so he does not fully meet Manchester City's requirements.
Nevertheless, the team's head coach Josep Guardiola was determined to buy him. According to journalist Paul Hirst, the Spanish coach considers Gianluigi one of the best goalkeepers in the world and views his transfer as a very beneficial opportunity.
The club also supported this opinion. It should be noted that PSG put Donnarumma up for sale because they could not reach an agreement on a new contract.
The goalkeeper's current contract with the Parisians expires next summer.
