De Jong participated in training after injury

New information has emerged in the press about the health of Barcelona's midfielder Frenkie de Jong. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It was reported that the footballer had sustained a minor injury at the Netherlands national team base. According to the Mundo Deportivo publication, de Jong participated in training with the team on Saturday.

However, by all indications, the Dutch player will miss the La Liga match against Valencia. The club does not want Frenkie to return to the field too quickly.

At the same time, de Jong is expected to participate in the Champions League match against Newcastle on September 18. Currently, Barcelona is in fourth place with seven points after three rounds in the La Liga competition.

The team is preparing thoroughly for its upcoming matches, and the health of its players is a top priority.
