Guardiola spoke about Foden's injuries

Sports07:38, 14-09-2025

Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola shared his thoughts on attacking midfielder Phil Foden's performances. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 25-year-old player did not have a good start to the current season. He appeared in only one match, coming on as a substitute in the defeat against Tottenham.

He was unable to participate in the other games due to injury. Guardiola sincerely congratulated Phil and wished him to play with joy in every training session and contribute to the team.

According to the coach, the difficulties of the past season were precisely due to Phil's absence, his creativity and hard work being missed. In the last English Premier League season, Phil Foden scored seven goals and provided two assists in 28 matches.

This information is of great importance for the team's future games.
