According to the Gazeta.Ru publication citing journalist Pasquale Guarro, the Romanian specialist was very angry because the players did not show the necessary discipline and effort in crucial moments.

Although the head coach responded cautiously at the press conference, he expressed much more open and sincere thoughts in the locker room. Christian Kivu was appointed as the head coach of "Inter" at the beginning of the summer, replacing the previous coach Simone Inzaghi, who moved to the "Al-Hilal" club.
