Arteta: Returning to Bilbao will be a new experience for me

The head coach of London’s Arsenal team, Mikel Arteta, shared his thoughts about his team arriving in Bilbao. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He said that he is usually at home, that is, in San Sebastián when he returns. The city of San Sebastián is located about an hour away from Bilbao.

Arteta emphasized that his family is from this region and that it is very pleasant to feel the passion for football, competition, and atmosphere here. He has not played in this stadium before, so this is a new and good experience for him.

Mikel Arteta is of Basque nationality and was born in San Sebastián. However, he played only one season for Real Sociedad, the main club of his hometown.
